Testimonials from our guests

Thanks for a lovely stay. Everything's been great and your facilities are amongst the best we've ever stayed in. Felt comfortable and at home straight away.

There is so much to see in the region, I'm sure we will be back !

We are so pleased that our last minute planning led us to Cours du Fleuve. The Cottage was perfect, cosy, cool, comfortable and so well equipped. You have thought of everything. We have loved exploring the beautiful region, especially all the historic bastide villages. Thank for your help and suggestions about where to visit. Our favourites were the market at Saint Cyprien, Limeuil, Domme, a canoe trip on the Dordogne, Issigeac, and so many more. At the Cottage, our best memories will be of sitting in the fabulous gazebo or on our patio with a glass of wine and watching the stunning sunsets. As hosts, you were warm, friendly and welcoming. Cours du Fleuve is a credit to you both. Hopefully, we will come back soon.

We thoroughly loved our visit to Cours Du Fleuve and were particularly impressed by the cleanliness of our property AND the pool. The Gite was welcoming and contained everything we needed. The layout of the properties meant that we could enjoy our neighbours company but maintain our privacy when we wanted to.. Thank you so much for your hospitality and for taking the time to inform us of the local events in the area which we took full advantage of 😊. We have visited France on a number of occasions now and the accommodation coupled with your personal touches meant that this was the best place we have stayed in to date!!

A beautiful location and property. We have loved every second of our stay in this lovely place.

Our hosts were very kind and friendly and we thank them for making our stay so special.

We have been busy cyclying, canoeing, paddle boarding and sight seeing along with spending quality family time by the pool.

We look forward to coming back soon.

We have "holidayed" in France and the Dordogne for over 12 years. This is the furthest South we have been and it has been a true adventure.

What a lovely gite with superb facilities in a beautiful setting. Anne and Paul have been on hand, whenever needed, which made our stay even more relaxed and enjoyable.

The gite is perfectly situated for the amazing sights, towns, villages and numerous chateaux that adorne the Perigord Noir. Our 17 year old daughter and 20 year old son spent time with us here and loved the gites and the local history plus the pool and sunshine!

Thank you - This is firmly on our list as a place to revisit.

A wonderfully situated, beautifully decorated and well-equipped house with very welcoming hosts. Staying here enabled us to have a really restful holiday. We loved visiting Limeuil and Domme. We would recommend taking a canoe from Cenac to Beynac and also Thursday evenings at "Les Jardins de Marquessac" which is candlelit. The restaurant in the square in Trémolat is fantastic :  Pizzeria Nulle part ailleurs. We will return!
